At-A-Glance πŸ‘€

New moms have no convenient way to know when expressed breast milk expires. At the moment, manually tracking milk expiration is time consuming and tedious. Moms are expected to perform mental gymnastics and track multiple time limits based on various scenarios. The client for this project conducted extensive research to explore solutions for this problem space. Ultimately, she came up with the solution of a bottle timer device that would turn a baby bottle into a smart bottle. The client came up with a solution to create a bottle timer device that notifies parents of when breast milk has expired, enabling them to: (1) stop wasting milk to preserve the fruits of your labor and save money (2) have safe milk when bottle feeding and (3) gain a piece of mind.

Problem

The startup Veba (formerly named Minder) had an idea for a device that turns baby bottles into smart bottles that notify parents (or any caregiver) when breast milk or formula has expired.
